An Artificial Intelligent tool that analyzes existing surveillance footage to improve spatial planning. With Fish Eyes, museum personnel across departments, curatorial, visitor services, marketing, and security, strategically experiment with future spatial layouts to improve safety, audience targeting, and engagement.
FishEyes was created during an AI/UI design jam sponsored by Parsons School of Design, Verizon, and NYC Media Lab. After a 3-days hackathon, with over 30 submissions, CurAItor(the first name of the project) won "Best in Show".

Ideation
Through research, museums' spatial planning is a collaborative job between curatorial, security, visitor services, education, collections, and exhibition designers.
We found data points that are beneficial for stakeholders. Therefore, Fish Eyes will track data such as age, pictures of art pieces taken, time spent in rooms, and walking paths from visitors, the AI will be able to collect, analyze and predict successful design trends and patterns for future exhibits.
The data is collected and made available to curators in two ways:
1. Comprehensive dashboard full of rich insights from room to room.
2. AR, where curators can experience the user's journey and visualize success through a heat map and pertinent notes throughout the exhibits.
